DuraStor 6220SS/7220SS Installation and User's Guide Replacing the Front Bezel 1 Ensure that the front bezel mounts to the two posts and that the bezel lip fits under the chassis top. 2 Lock the front bezel by turning the screws one-quarter turn to the right. Connecting the Power Cords Once the DuraStor RAID appliance is in place, the power cords can be attached and secured. 1 On the back of the RAID appliance, lift a security bale and plug in a power cord. 2 Place the bale over the cord. (This protects the power cord from accidental disconnection.) 3 Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded outlet or UPS power strip. 4 Repeat this process for the other power cord. If you are installing the DuraStor RAID appliance only, go to Turning On the Power on page 3-54. Setting Up the DuraStor 312R Storage Enclosure This section describes the installation and set up of the DuraStor 312R storage enclosure. If you are installing the DuraStor 6220SS/7200SS storage subsystem, you should install the DuraStor RAID appliance before installing the DuraStor 312R. 3-6

Replacing the Front Bezel

Ensure that the front bezel mounts to the two posts and that the
bezel lip fits under the chassis top.

Lock the front bezel by turning the screws one-quarter turn to
the right.
Connecting the Power Cords
Once the DuraStor RAID appliance is in place, the power cords can
be attached and secured.

On the back of the RAID appliance, lift a security bale and plug
in a power cord.

Place the bale over the cord. (This protects the power cord from
accidental disconnection.)

Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded outlet or
UPS power strip.
