Turning the display on To turn on the display for the first time: 1 Press the power button on the front right side of the display. ® O ¤ Indicator light Power button Z Note: The display's power indication light doesn't go on until you start your computer. 2 Start up your computer. The power indicator light goes on. If the power indicator light does not go on, press the power button again. If this doesn't work, make sure you've connected the display to your computer properly (see "Connecting the Display to Your IBM PC-Compatible Computer" earlier in this chapter). Also, make sure your computer is turned on. Using the display To change resolutions on your display, see the manuals that came with your operating software or video card. In most cases, once you turn on the display, you will not have to make any adjustments to the screen image. If necessary, you can adjust or fine-tune the image to suit your personal preference. Turning the display on
To turn on the display for the first time:

Press the power button on the front right side of the display.
Note:
The display’s power indication light doesn’t go on until you start your
computer.

Start up your computer.
The power indicator light goes on. If the power indicator light does not go on,
press the power button again. If this doesn’t work, make sure you’ve connected
the display to your computer properly (see “Connecting the Display to Your
IBM PC-Compatible Computer” earlier in this chapter). Also, make sure your
computer is turned on.
Using the display
To change resolutions on your display, see the manuals that came with your
operating software or video card.
In most cases, once you turn on the display, you will not have to make any
adjustments to the screen image. If necessary, you can adjust or fine-tune the
image to suit your personal preference. For more information, see Chapter 9.
Note:
The files on the
AppleVision Software
disk are useful only for Macintosh
computers.
