Note: The selections you see in the Monitors control panel depend on what hardware you have. 4 Click Options to see what resolutions you can select. 5 Select a resolution. Click the resolution you want. Click the arrows to see if there are more choices. (Your choices may differ from those shown here.) If you don't see any options for changing resolutions, you may have selected the wrong display in the control panel. Click Cancel, then try step 3 again. If you still don't see any options for changing resolutions, make sure you've set up the AppleVision 1710AV Display correctly. For more information, see Chapter 1. The screen resolution you choose may change the number of colors and grays you can set for your monitor. With a higher resolution, you may have fewer choices for colors and grays. 6 Click OK to return to the main window of the Monitors control panel. 7 Close the Monitors control panel by clicking the close box in the upper-left corner. Depending on the option you selected in the control panel, the new resolution appears either as soon as you close the dialog box or when you restart the computer. When you change screen resolution, objects on your desktop may be rearranged to accommodate the new resolution. 8 If the image is distorted, adjust the controls on the display itself as explained in Chapter 3. Select a resolution.
If you don’t see any options for changing resolutions, you may have selected
the wrong display in the control panel. Click Cancel, then try step 3 again. If
you still don’t see any options for changing resolutions, make sure you’ve set
up the AppleVision 1710
AV
Display correctly. For more information, see
Chapter 1.
The screen resolution you choose may change the number of colors and grays
you can set for your monitor. With a higher resolution, you may have fewer
choices for colors and grays.

Click OK to return to the main window of the Monitors control panel.

Close the Monitors control panel by clicking the close box in the upper-left corner.
Depending on the option you selected in the control panel, the new resolution
appears either as soon as you close the dialog box or when you restart the
computer.
When you change screen resolution, objects on your desktop may be
