5 Drag the picker in the color triangle until the color sample in the lower-right corner of the window is similar to the gray color on the tool. This gives you a general color adjustment. 6 Drag the control on the Brightness slider until the color sample matches the tool exactly. When the tool and sample match, the hole in the tool seems to disappear. 7 Click Save. A dialog box appears. 8 Enter a name for your ambient light setting and click Save. The ambient light setting is saved, and the name appears in the Custom Ambient Light pop-up menu. 9 Click Recalibrate. After several seconds, your display is recalibrated to correct for ambient light. 10 Close the AppleVision Setup control panel. For example, if your display is near a window, you may want one ambient light setting for the morning and another for the afternoon. Close the AppleVision Setup control panel.
