1 Choose Control Panels from the Apple (K) menu, and open the Control Strip control panel. Click to use a hot key to hide and show the Control Strip. Click to define a new hot key. The hot key currently defined for the Control Strip 2 Click Define Hot Key. The Hot Key dialog box appears. Press the key combination you want to use for the hot key. The key combination must include the Control, Option, or x key. 3 Click OK.
