4 Reopen the pop-up menu. The Delete command at the end of the menu shows the name of the current setting. 5 Choose Delete. The setting is deleted. 6 Close the AppleVision Setup control panel. Adjusting the gamma curve You can adjust the gamma curve on your display to match images you acquire or images you are exporting, whichever is appropriate. For example, most scanners use a gamma value of 1.0, most computer displays (including the Macintosh) use a gamma value of 1.8, and video-editing equipment (such as HDTV) uses a gamma value of 2.2. Use the Color window in the AppleVision Setup control panel to reset the gamma value. 1 Open the AppleVision Setup control panel and click the Color button. The Color window appears.
