To enable and use a section box 1 Select the Box mode on the Sectioning toolbar. 2 Click the Enable/Disable button. 3 Click the Set Box Size button. 4 In the Set Box Size dialog box, enter the X, Y, Z values to define the box, and click OK. Autodesk Navisworks creates the sectioning box in the center of the model. 5 Click the Step Size button. 6 In the Sectioning Plane dialog box, select the Enable check box, enter the desired value into the text box below, and click OK. 7 Use the X, Y, and Z numeric steppers to move the sectioning box around the model. TIP If you want to restrict the range of the box movement to specific items, select them in the Scene Area, and click the Set Range button. Enable and Use Section Boxes | 249
