15 Connecting the Camera to a Computer Selecting a Downloading Method The downloading method you choose will depend upon the operating system (OS) on your computer. Read the appropriate page referenced below after checking your computer system. Downloading Method Downloading from the camera via the USB interface Downloading from a card reader Page Reference P. 16 P. 18 Windows Users • Do not connect the camera to a Windows computer at this point. The USB Driver must be installed before the camera is connected to the computer via the USB interface. The USB Driver can be installed very easily, so please wait until the driver is installed before connecting the camera. • You should use a household power source to power the camera when it is connected to the computer.
