Using the Setup Screen Netfilter 6 Netfilter The Netfilter controls the access permission of clients by checking the client IP Address. Click on the check box Enable IP address filtering to enable Netfilter. There are two options for permission control in the drop down menu: Allow and Deny. Only those clients whose IP address is in the Allowed List and not in the Denied List can connect to the Video Server or PVC300 PTZ Internet Camera for receiving the audio/video streaming. Both Allowed List and Denied List consist of a single IP Address, list of IP Address ranges, or a network mask. If you want to add a new IP address, click on the Add button and type the IP Address you want to Allow or Deny. There are 3 methods of filtering in the drop down menu: Single IP address, IP Address Range and Network. If you want to add a new IP Address range, click on the Add button and type the Begin IP Address on the left text box and End IP Address in the right text box. If you want to add a new Network, click on the Add button and type the Network you want to Allow or Deny. If you want to remove an existing IP Address, IP address range, or Network, just select from the pull-down menu and click on the Delete button. Netfilter
