Using the Setup Screen Administering the PVC300 6 Defining Camera Maintenance Settings The Maintenance Folder has four sections that define the following settings; Export/Import Configuration File, Restore Defaults, Restore Factory Defaults, Restart, and Calibrate. Export/Import Configuration File-Exporting and importing configuration files allows you to create a camera configuration file to restore lost setups, or to create a "template" when setting up multiple cameras. Restore Defaults-Click Restore to reset all settings to the factory defaults. During the restoration process, you will receive a message that the device is rebooting, and that your browser will reconnect to . NOTE The Network Type setting on the network page cannot be reset. Restore Factory Defaults-Click Restore to restore the factory default settings. Any changes made so far will be lost and the system will be reset to the initial factory settings. The system will restart and require the installer program to set up the network again. Restart-Click Restart to restart the camera. Calibrate-Click Calibrate to immediately recalibrate the home position to the default center to recover the tolerance caused by some external forces. NOTE If you click Calibrate, no confirmation dialog box or window appears. The software immediately calibrates the home position of the camera. Defining Camera Maintenance Settings
