Using the Setup Screen Configuring Camera Applications 6 Configuring DDNS for the Camera This folder explains how to configure dynamic domain name service for the PVC300 PTZ Internet Camera. DDNS is a service that allows your PVC300 PTZ Internet Camera, especially when assigned with a dynamic IP address, to have a fixed host and domain name. Enable DDNS-Select this option to enable the DDNS setting. Service Provider-Select a DDNS provider of your choice from the Provider dropdown list. Host Name-If using a DDNS service, this field must be filled. Please input the hostname that is registered in the DDNS server. Account-The Username or E-mail field is necessary for logging in the DDNS server or notify the User of the new IP address. Note: when this field is input as "Username" the following field must be input as "Password". Password-Input the password or key to get the DDNS service. Refer to the following links to apply for a dynamic domain account when selecting other DDNS providers: • Dyndns.org(Dynamic) / Dyndns.org(Custom)-http://www.dyndns.com/ • TZO.com-http://www.tzo.com/ • 3322.org I/O Ports Input Ports-Select High or Low to define normal status of the digital input. Configuring DDNS for the Camera
This folder explains how to configure dynamic domain name service for the
PVC300 PTZ Internet Camera. DDNS is a service that allows your PVC300 PTZ
Internet Camera, especially when assigned with a dynamic IP address, to have a
fixed host and domain name.
Enable DDNS
—Select this option to enable the DDNS setting.
Service Provider
—Select a DDNS provider of your choice from the Provider drop-
down list.
Host Name
—If using a DDNS service, this field must be filled. Please input the
hostname that is registered in the DDNS server.
Account
—The Username or E-mail field is necessary for logging in the DDNS
server or notify the User of the new IP address. Note: when this field is input as
