In the MIDI tab page, you can map effects for MIDI playback. To set the effect amount, insert the controller command when you are authoring a MIDI file in a MIDI sequencer program such as CakeWalk. To configure effects for MIDI playback: 1. In the Environmental Audio Control dialog, click 2 the MIDI tab. 1 2. To assign a MIDI controller to an effect, click the Controller value in the Effects list and select from the drop-down list displayed. To change the effect amount, go to a MIDI sequencer program to specify the Controller value when you insert the controller command. 3. When you are satisfied with the configuration, save the settings into the current environment or, in the case of a default environment, save the settings as a new environment by typing a new name or the name of an existing custom environment in the Environment box, and then click the Save button. To configure an effect: 1. To change the value of a parameter, select the parameter and move the slider at the bottom of the dialog. You can audition changes without closing the dialog. To reset to the parameter's default value, click the Default button. 2. Repeat Step 1 for each parameter you want to change. 3. When the configuration is correct, save the settings into the current type or, if a default type, by typing a new name or an existing name in the Type box, and then clicking the Save button. 4.
