The log information is removed from the log file table, and the device is updated. Displaying Log Information Using CLI Commands For information about the CLI commands that perform this function, see the Syslog Commands chapter in the CLI Reference Guide. The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands you use to remove log information. Table 6-12. Log Information Commands CLI Command clear logging show logging Description Use to clear messages from the logging buffer. Displays the state of logging and the syslog messages stored in the internal buffer. Log File The Log File contains information about specific log entries, including the time the log was entered, the log severity, and a description of the log. To display the Log File, click System →Logs →Log File in the tree view. Figure 6-18.
