• Description - The log description. Removing Log Information 1. Open the Log File Table page. 2. Click Clear Log. The log information is removed from the log file table, and the device is updated. Removing Log Information Using CLI Commands For information about the CLI commands that perform this function, see the Syslog Commands chapter in the CLI Reference Guide. The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands you use to remove log information. Table 6-13. Log File Commands CLI Command clear logging file show logging file Description Use to clear messages from the logging file. Displays the state of logging and the syslog messages stored in the logging file. Remote Log Server Settings Use the Remote Log Server Settings page to view the available log servers, to define new log servers, and to set the severity of the log events sent to the server.
