Specifies authentication methods for http. Specifies authentication methods for https. Specifies the login authentication method list for a remote telnet or console. Shows information about authentication methods. Assigning Secure HTTP Sessions an Authentication Sequence 1. Open the Select Authentication page. 2. Under Secure HTTP, select an authentication method in the Optional Methods field and click the right arrow button. The selected authentication method moves to the Selected Methods field. 3. Repeat until the desired authentication sequence is displayed in the Selected Methods field. 4. Click Apply Changes. Secure HTTP sessions are assigned the authentication sequence. Password Management Password management provides increased network security and improved password control. Passwords for SSH, Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS, and SNMP access are assigned security features, including: • Defining minimum password lengths (the minimum password length is 8 when password lengthchecking is enabled) • Password expiration • Preventing frequent password reuse • Locking out users out after failed login attempts To display the Password Management page, click System →Management Security →Password Management in the tree view. 156 Configuring System Information
