Experiencing Multimedia 133 7.3 Using Windows Media Player You can use Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player Mobile for Smartphone to play digital audio and video files that are stored on your phone or on a network, such as on a website. In this documentation, the version of Windows Media Player for Windows-based PCs is called the "desktop Player" and the version for Smartphone is called the "device Player." These are the following file formats that are supported by this version of Windows Media Player Mobile.
