Note If you lose power to the OmniBook, or if you have removed the CD-ROM or DVD module from the OmniBook, you can manually open the drive to remove a CD. • Insert a straightened paper clip into the recessed hole on the front of the drive, as shown above. For Windows 95, 98, and NT, your OmniBook has been configured at the factory to disable CD Auto Insert notification. This allows your system to suspend on time-out. However, you may notice that Windows 95 or Windows 98 may not automatically detect the insertion of a CD. For Windows 2000, your OmniBook has been configured to enable CD Auto Insert notification. This does not affect time-outs. To play DVD movies If your OmniBook came with a DVD drive, you can install DVD player software that lets you play DVD movies. Note
For Windows 95, 98, and NT, your OmniBook has been configured at the factory to
