Check your Setup program settings: 1 Turn on or restart the PC. 2 When the message Press F2 to Enter Setup appears, press the F2 key. 1 Switch the PC OFF then ON. 2 When the message Press F2 to Enter Setup appears, press the F2 key. 3 Press F9 to restore default values. 4 Press F10 to exit the Setup program saving changes. Create a floppy to update your PC's BIOS. Refer to page 22. Download the latest drivers from HP Support Web: www.hp.com/go/briosupport Check the state of your hard disk by running ScanDisk and Disk Defragmenter.
