Chapter 9 Managing Servers Over the Network Run Setup To run the Setup program, follow the steps listed below for either Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95, or for Windows NT 3.51: Step 1. 2. 3. 4. Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95 Select Start from the taskbar. Then choose Run from the Start menu. Insert Diskette 1 of "NetRAID Assistant for Windows NT and Windows 95." Type :\setup at the Open prompt, where is the drive letter of the diskette drive you are using. Go to Step 5. Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 Select File/Run from the Program Manager. Insert Diskette 1 of "NetRAID Assistant for Windows NT and Windows 95." Type :\setup at the Run prompt and click OK, where is the drive letter of the diskette drive you are using. Go to Step 5. Follow On-screen Instructions for Windows 5. On the User Information screen, type the user name and the company. 6. For Windows 95, go to Step 7. For Windows NT, on the Select Installation Options window, select one of the following options: ◊ Manage NetRAID adapter(s) in this server only. (If you choose this option, skip Step 7 and go on to Step 8.) ◊ Manage NetRAID adapter(s) in this server and in other NT and NetWare servers on the network. (If you choose this option, go on to Step 7.) 7. For clients running Windows 95, select one or both of the following utilities: ◊ NetRAID Registration Server manages a list of HP NetRAID adapters. ◊ NetRAID Assistant is the management utility. 103

Run Setup
To run the Setup program, follow the steps listed below for either Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95, or for Windows NT 3.51:
