Chapter 1 Introduction CAUTION All HP NetRAID adapter cards are sensitive to static electricity and can easily be damaged by improper handling. Using a grounding strap is recommended. Read the following information carefully before you handle the accessory: • Leave the adapter card in the antistatic bag until you are ready to install it. • If possible, use an antistatic wrist strap and grounding mat. • Before you remove the adapter card from the bag, touch a grounded, unpainted metal surface on the system to discharge static electricity. 11
