You can install an additional 16 or 32 MB of cache memory, using the D6029A SIMM Upgrade for HP NetRAID. For the HP NetRAID-3Si adapter, cache memory resides in a 16 MB batterybacked 60-ns DO (Extended Data Output) DRAM SIMM. To install additional cache memory: 1. Verify that the Battery Backup Unit is not plugged in on the HP NetRAID or HP NetRAID-3Si adapter. 2. Install the new SIMM according to the instructions supplied with the additional memory. 44

Install Additional Memory
For the HP NetRAID adapter, cache memory resides in a 4 MB battery-backed

For the HP NetRAID-3Si adapter, cache memory resides in a 16 MB battery-

To install additional cache memory:
