Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has provided platform device information. Chipset: vendor chipset. Memory mode: mode. IPMI found: Y/N Variables x - the CE for which platform device information is detected vendor chipset - the vendor of the chipset in CEx mode - the type of memory in CEx Y - IPMI was found in CEx N - IPMI was not found in CEx Severity Informational Description The platform device information describes the memory controller chipset and type of memory that is being used in the booting or synchronizing CE. It also indicates the presence of the IPMI on the motherboard. This information is logged on the IOP that controls the booting and synchronizing of the CEs. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of CE hardware configuration information. Action No action is required. IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx is available to be booted or synchronized. Variables x - the ID of the CE that is available for booting or synchronization Severity Informational Description The CE has completed power-on self tests and is available to the local IOP to be booted or synchronized into the Endurance server configuration. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: The boot process has started for CEx IOPn.MtcMon status: The synchronization process has started for CEx. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of the opening of a communications path over the physical connection between the CE and the local IOP. Action • If the CE is subsequently booted or synchronized, no action is required. • If it is not, examine the event log to determine the reason. 245
