Chapter 15 MtcSmR Messages IOPn.MtcSmR status: The HP NetServer AA System Management Redirector received an invalid sync-up response from the Event Provider. Attempting to continue to provide HP NetServer AA System Management control functions. No HP NetServer AA events will be logged to the CE. Any event generated at this time will only be logged on the IOP that generated the event. Severity Warning Description This is an internal message. If this message is logged, contact your service provider. IOPn.MtcSmR status: The registration of HP NetServer AA System Management Redirector with the CE transport failed. Severity Error Description Before sending requests to an IOP, the HP NetServer AA System Management Redirector driver must register with the MtcCEX driver. The HP NetServer AA System Management Redirector driver could not do so. This prevents HP NetServer AA messages from being sent by the IOPs to the CE. Additionally, HP NetServer AA Manager commands cannot be processed from the CE. HP NetServer AA Manager commands can be issued from the IOP and will be processed. IOPn.MtcSmR status: This is a checkpoint generated from an HP NetServer AA System Management client application. Severity Informational Description This message inserts a marker in the Windows NT Event Viewer. This message is used for diagnostic purposes. 356

.MtcSmR status: The HP NetServer AA System Management Redirector received an invalid sync-up response

driver must register with the MtcCEX driver. The HP NetServer AA System Management
