Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: Server shutdown has been requested by the operator. Severity Informational Description This message occurs after issuing a command to shut down the Endurance server. The result is: • If the operating system on the CEs is running, it is shut down by the Endurance server software. • Each active IOP is shut down. • The Endurance server automatically reboots. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: An Endurance Manager request to shut down the operating system on the CE(s) could not be performed because shutdown is already in progress. IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the CE(s) is being shut down. IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the active CE(s) has been shut down by operator request. IOPn.MtcMon status: CE operating system shutdown has been requested by the operator. IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE operating system shutdown request failed. IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE operating system shutdown request completed successfully. IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE remove or disable operation failed. IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has been removed from service. IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has been disabled by operator request. IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx is being shut down by operator request. IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx has been removed from service. IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx has been disabled by operator request. IOPn.MtcMon status: The IOP shutdown or disable operation failed. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a software-driven system transition. Action No action is required. The results of the shutdown command are entered in the event log. 268
