The remap operation makes the sector available to the operating system again. However, all data that was stored on that sector is lost forever. Action Make a note of the bad block for later diagnostic purposes. IOPn.MtcScsiP status: Reset of HP NetServer AA partition for DISKn has been ignored. The partition does not require resetting, or disk cannot be accessed for resetting. Variables n - the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2 Severity Error Description The administrator attempted to reset the specified disk's HP NetServer AA partition using the HP NetServer AA Manager. However, the sector is already valid or the disk cannot be accessed for an HP NetServer AA partition reset. Action If the disk is online, then the HP NetServer AA sector did not require resetting. If the disk was not online, then it may not be eligible for a reset. For example, if a disk was not found during IOP boot, it cannot have its HP NetServer AA partition reset. 339
