Completing Initial Power-On Self Test After Unpacking Your Endurance Server Kit, complete the following for each computer: Step 1 2 3 4 Action Make sure the power switches for the computer and monitor are off. Following the manufacturer's instructions, assemble each computer. Plug in the power cords. Power on each computer; make sure that it runs POST (power-on self test) and boots properly. Notes To increase fault resiliency, install the computers of Tuple1 and Tuple2 on separate AC power circuits using Uninterruptable Power Supplies. For the CEs, use a bootable floppy disk, and ensure that the CEs boot. For the IOPs, ensure that both IOPs can boot from their respective hard drives.
