Installing HP OfficeJet Pro Partner Software If you did not install some of the available third-party software programs when you installed your OfficeJet Pro, follow these procedures to install them separately. 1 Insert CD-ROM #2 in your computer's CD-ROM drive. 2 From the task bar, select the Start menu, and then select Run. 3 Enter z:\setup (substitute your CD-ROM drive letter for the "z"). The "Install Software" screen appears. 4 Make sure there is a check in the box next to the software product you want to install, and click Next>. NOTE If you are installing Symantec WinFax PRO, be sure to have your Windows 95/98 installation CD-ROM available. 5 Follow the instructions on the screen. For more information, see the software installation procedure beginning on page 2-14. Installing the Office 97 Utility If you install Office 97 after installing your HP OfficeJet Pro software, you must run a special program before you can scan pictures into these programs. Installing HP OfficeJet Pro Partner Software

NOTE
If you are installing Symantec WinFax PRO, be sure to have your
Windows 95/98 installation CD-ROM available.
