Feature Storage Image capture options Description z Slot for memory card z One 32 MB SD memory card included. z This camera supports both Secure Digital (SD) and some MultiMediaCardTM (MMC) memory cards. Only MMC cards that have been verified compliant to the MultiMediaCardTM specification as of January 2000 are supported. Compliant MMC memory cards have the MultiMediaCardTM logo on the card or package. z SD cards are recommended, as they are faster than MMC cards at reading and writing data. z This camera may support memory cards up to 2 GB, though HP has only tested up to 512 MB, as 1 GB and 2 GB cards are not available yet. Cards larger than 2 GB will not work. A high capacity card itself does not affect camera performance, but a large number of files (over 300) does affect the time it takes for the camera to turn on. z The number of images that can be saved in memory depends on the image quality settings (see Memory Card Capacity on page 141). z Still (default) z Self-Timer-still picture or video clip taken after 10 second delay z Self-Timer - 2 shots-still picture taken after 10 second delay, then a second picture taken about 3 seconds later z Burst-camera takes pictures until the buffer is full (typically 4-6 pictures) z Video-15 frames per second (includes audio), maximum length up to 1 minute Appendix C: Specifications 137
