Camera Sounds, Eye Start

Camera Sounds Camera sounds are the sounds that the camera makes when you turn it on, press a button, or take a picture. Camera sounds are not the audio sounds recorded with images or video clips. 1 In the Setup menu (page 83), select Camera Sounds. 2 In the Camera Sounds sub-menu, highlight the volume level you would prefer. 3 Press OK to save the setting and return to the Setup menu. The default Camera Sounds setting is Low. NOTE The volume level of camera sounds is not affected by the audio level adjustment provided with the Play menu option in the Playback menu. Eye Start By default, the microdisplay will turn on whenever you put your eye up to the viewfinder. If you turn the Eye Start sensor Off, the microdisplay will be on whenever the Image Display is off (use the Live View button to toggle between the two). 1 In the Setup menu (page 83), select Eye Start. 2 In the Eye Start sub-menu, highlight On (the default) or Off. 3 Press OK to save the setting and return to the Setup menu. Camera Sounds

you turn it on, press a button, or take a picture. Camera sounds
are not the audio sounds recorded with images or video clips.

menu (page 83), select
Camera Sounds
.

Camera Sounds
sub-menu,
highlight the volume level you

return to the
Setup

The default
Camera Sounds
setting
is
Low
.
NOTE
The volume level of camera sounds is not affected by
the audio level adjustment provided with the
Play
menu

menu.
Eye Start
By default, the microdisplay will turn on whenever you put your
eye up to the viewfinder. If you turn the Eye Start sensor
Off
, the
microdisplay will be on whenever the Image Display is off (use
the
Live View
button to toggle between the two).
