Problem Possible cause The camera You did not does not take press the a picture Shutter button when I press hard enough. the Shutter button. The memory card is not installed. The memory card is full. The memory card is locked. The flash is recharging. The camera is set to MACRO focus and cannot take a picture until it finds focus. The camera is still saving the last picture you took. Solution Press the Shutter button all the way down. Install the memory card. Unload images from the camera to your computer, then delete all images on the memory card. Or replace the card with a new one. Switch the locking tab on the memory card to the unlocked position. Wait until the flash has recharged before taking another picture. z Re-focus the camera (try using Focus Lock, page 26). z Make sure the subject of the picture is within the Macro (close-up) range (page 36).
