Remove the fan assembly: 1. Lift the display cable from the channels next to the fan (1). 2. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) that secure the fan to the computer. 3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (3), and then remove the fan from the computer (4). Reverse this procedure to install the fan assembly. Heat sink To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations. Remove the fan assembly:

Lift the display cable from the channels next to the fan
