Creating Test Scripts: Scripting allows you to select specific groups of tests, sub-test, and parameters. You can then save your selections for later use as a test script. To set up a test script: 1. Select Run Server Diagnostics from the Startup Menu; then press Enter 2. Select Test from the Diagnostics Menu. 3. Select the tests, sub-tests, and parameters. 4. Select Configuration from the Diagnostics Menu. 5. Select Save Test Configuration. 6. Type in a file name and press Enter. 7. To load and run the test program with this test setting, type: T /CF filename and then, press Enter. Options: The following is a brief description of each option that appears on the Options Menu. Option Line Printer Halt on Error Prompt on Error Summarize Loops/Fails Interactive Waiting Edit Run-Time Flags Run All Tests Use Run-List Run DOS Command Description Sends error messages to a line printer. If you select Yes, you can resume testing after a halt by pressing any key. If you select No, any error detected is logged (only if you enabled the Test Log) and the program continues testing without halting. If you select Yes, a beep sounds whenever the test program detects an error. Summarize the number of times the test has been run and the number of failures. Can optionally redirect to file or printer. This option allows you to define a period of time after which tests defined to halt on error will continue. Gives access for editing of all global run-time flags. Automatically enables all tests. Allows you to specify a sequence of tests and loops. Allows you to enter a DOS command. Creating Test Scripts:
Scripting allows you to
