Note To enable the wakeup features, you must install the appropriate software and hardware in the server. For complete details, refer to the documentation that comes with the Ethernet adapter. The server can be deactivated as follows: Pressing the Power Control button causes an immediate shutdown of the server, and places the server in standby mode. This feature can be used if the operating system hangs. Note After turning off the server, wait at least five seconds before pressing the Power Control button to power on the server again. Disconnecting all of the server power cords from the electrical outlet will shut off all power to the server. Note Wait for the system to stop running. Watch for the System Power light on the front panel to stop flashing or illuminating.
