Previous view 7 D-STAR OPERATION Skip setting for the DR scan You can set repeaters as scan skip repeaters. The selected repeaters are then skipped for faster scanning. You can set the skip setting to all repeaters in the selected repeater group, or to individual repeaters. When a repeater is specified as a skip repeater, its "USE (FROM)" setting is automatically set to "NO." In this case, the repeater cannot be selected in "FROM" (Access repeater). DDIndividual skip setting qqTouch [MENU]. wwTouch "Repeater List." (DV Memory > Repeater List) • The repeater groups are displayed. eeTouch the repeater group for 1 second where the repeater you set the skip setting is listed. rrTouch the repeater for 1 second to be skipped. Group skip setting Touch the repeater group for 1 second, and then touch "SKIP All ON" to skip the repeaters in the group during the DR scan. ttTouch "SKIP." • Displays "SKIP" on the selected repeater. • Touch the repeater for 1 second again to cancel the skip setting. • Touching "SKIP All ON" sets the skip setting to all repeaters in the group. For your reference When you select "Repeater List" in the "FROM SELECT" screen, you can set the skip setting as described to the left. Appears For your reference When "FROM" is selected, touch [SKIP] in the F-2 menu for 1 second to set the skip setting. Touch [SKIP] again to clear the skip setting. Rotate [DIAL] to select another repeater, and you can set the skip setting. "FROM" is selected 7-29 Touch [ON] to set the skip setting. ("SKIP" appears)
