Previous view 11 REPEATER AND DUPLEX OPERATIONS FM Repeater operation A repeater receives signals and on one frequency, and then retransmits them on a different frequency. When using a repeater, the transmit frequency is shifted from the receive frequency by a frequency offset. A repeater can be accessed using the duplex function by setting the transceiver's offset to the same value as the repeater's offset. FM Repeater operation
A repeater receives signals and on one frequency, and
then retransmits them on a different frequency. When
using a repeater, the transmit frequency is shifted from
the receive frequency by a frequency offset.
A repeater can be accessed using the duplex function
by setting the transceiver’s offset to the same value as
the repeater’s offset.
See Sections 6 and 7 for details on accessing a D-
STAR repeater.
Select the VFO mode.

• If the Repeater tone frequency or the frequency off

set is changed, the tone or offset for auto repeater
function is also changed.
• If the offset value will cause the transmit frequency

display when [PTT] is pushed, and transmit will be
