2 Setting up the transceivers Transceiver system configuration ■■Installation Overview The following shows a typical procedure for connecting the transceivers to the VE-PG4. 1 Preparing requirements(p.iii) You may need purchase the appropriate optional cables for your transceiver. 2 Setting the transceivers Before connecting to a transceiver to the RoIP Gateway, make the individual transceiver settings, such as the channels, audio volume, and so on. (pp. 2-3,2-4) LLCheck the manual for your transceivers for details on the settings. 3 Registering the transceivers to the VE-PG4 (pp. 2-5, 2-10, 2-15) Access the setting screen of the VE-PG4, and register the transceivers that you want to connect to it. LLConfigure the functions, depending on your transceiver system configuration. 4 Connecting the transceivers to the VE-PG4 (pp.2-8, 2-12, 2-18) Connect the transceivers to the ports using the optional cables or LAN cables. NOTE: Turn OFF the RoIP Gateway and the transceivers before connecting.
