2 Setting up the transceivers Multicast mode operation ■■Connecting a transceiver to the RoIP Gateway 1 Set the transceiver channel, volume level, TX output power, and other necessary settings, before connecting to the RoIP Gateway. (p. 2-3) NOTE: Turn OFF both the RoIP Gateway and the transceiver before connecting the cable. 2 Connect the RoIP Gateway and the transceiver, using the appropriate optional cable. NOTE: ••Turn OFF both the radio and the RoIP Gateway when connecting or disconnecting the transceiver. ••Keep the radio away from a PC, a power adapter and other electronic equipment. The noise emitted from those equipment may interfere with the radio. ••When operating the radio, do not transmit near the IP telephone. 2-8
