4 Configuring the PBX system Configuring the PBX system PBX > Extension ■■Registering the SIP phones to the VE-PG4 Enter an extension number for each SIP phones. 1 Open the Extension screen of the VE-PG4 setting screen. (PBX > Extension) 2 In the [Extension], enter the following items, and then click . q Enter w Click 3 Confirm the entered extensions in the [List of Extension Entries]. Check the MAC address of the SIP phone and enter it. Confirm The assignable numbers to the extensions ••Assign a 2 ~ 7 digit number. ••Avoid the numbers for emergency calls in your local area. ••Do not use "0" for the first digit. LLSet up both the VE-PG4 and the SIP phones to use the extensions. LLSee also the manual of your SIP phones about their installation and its operation. Extension Batch Setting You can register 2 or more extensions with sequential numbering, or copy the setting contents to other extensions all at once. (PBX > Extension > Extension Batch Setting) 4-4

Registering the SIP phones to the VE-PG4
Enter an extension number for each SIP phones.

Open the Extension screen of the VE-PG4 setting screen.
(PBX > Extension)

In the [Extension], enter the following items, and then click <Apply>.

SIP phone and enter it.

Confirm the entered extensions in the [List of Extension Entries].
