2 Setting up the transceivers Recording the transceiver communication audio You can record the communication audio between the transceivers to an external storage device that is connected to the USB port of the RoIP Gateway. You can enter up to 4 recording boxes. To each recording box, you can set conditions to be recorded, such as the type of call or the target (Unit ID or Group ID). LLYou cannot record the calls as follows: ••Between IP phones ••Between IP phone and IP transceivers ••Direct communication between digital transceivers ••Communication through a bridge connection LLThe recording stops after detecting a mute for the set period of time. (Default: 5 seconds) LLA data transmission while recording is recorded as a mute. Recording the transceiver communication audio
You can record the communication audio between the transceivers to an external storage device that is
connected to the USB port of the RoIP Gateway.
You can enter up to 4 recording boxes. To each recording box, you can set conditions to be recorded, such as
the type of call or the target (Unit ID or Group ID).

You cannot record the calls as follows:
• Between IP phones
• Between IP phone and IP transceivers
• Direct communication between digital transceivers
• Communication through a bridge connection

The recording stops after detecting a mute for the set period of time. (Default: 5 seconds)

A data transmission while recording is recorded as a mute.
Expert Settings > Call Recording

Open the Call Recording screen.
(Expert Settings > Call Recording)

In [Recorder Setting], select Mode (Example: Recording) and Call Type (Example: All), and then click
<Apply>.
