Installing or Removing a Slimline Optical Drive (Intel® Server System SR2625UR only) Cautions: The slimline optical drive is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing the drive, you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power cord from the system or wall outlet. To maintain proper system cooling, a filler blank must be installed if you do not install a device at this location. Installing a Slimline Optical Drive To install the slimline optical drive in Intel® Server System SR2625UR, follow these steps: 1. Install the plastic guide onto the rear of the optical drive and attach with two screws as shown in Figure 70. TP02233 Figure 70. Installing the Plastic Guide to the Optical Drive 2. Insert the optical drive tray assembly into the server system opening and push all the way until it stops (see Figure 66). 3. Cautions:
The slimline optical drive is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing the drive,

Installing a Slimline Optical Drive
To install the slimline optical drive in Intel
®
Server System SR2625UR, follow these
steps:
1.
Install the plastic guide onto the rear of the optical drive and attach with two screws
as shown in
Figure 70
.
