Removing the I/O Expansion Module To remove the I/O expansion module, follow these steps: 1. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see "Removing the PCI Riser Assembly" on page 50. 2. Disconnect the I/O expansion module from the server board connector and the standoffs and remove the module out of the server system (see letter "A" in Figure 89. 4.
