BIOS Recover (J1D4) Jumper Purpose If pins 2-3 are jumpered, administrator and user passwords are cleared within five to ten seconds after the system is powered on. These pins should be jumpered on 1-2 for normal system operation. If pins 2-3 are jumpered, the system can only boot from EFIbootable recovery media with the recovery BIOS image. The main system BIOS will not boot. These pins should be jumpered on 1-2 for normal system operation. Figure 10.
