F. Element Closing: A properly closed element is circular. It allows the pages to turn without restricting the paper, while not allowing sheets to fall out of the binding. Above is a diagram of a correctly closed element. The element is considered under-closed if it is possible to pull a sheet out of the twin loop binding by pulling on the end of the sheet. The element is considered over-closed if the element is oval shaped. If the element is under-closed increase the closer value in the LCD tree, decrease this value instead if the element is over-closed. After changing the setting run a new book and inspect its element.
