2.20 Automatic logoff setting function 2 2.20 Automatic logoff setting function Logging on to the administrator mode enables the machine to set the time of automatic logoff. With the automatic logoff function, you can automatically log off when the setting time elapses while Web Connection is being used. The time to automatic logoff can be specified for the administrator mode and user mode respectively. If you set the time to automatic logoff too long, there is a risk that an unauthorized access may occur during your absence. Set the minimum period of time within five minutes. If the time longer than 5 minutes has been set, please redo this setting. Selectable time is 1 to 10 minutes, or 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 minutes for the time to log off from the administrator mode and the user mode. 2.20.1 Setting automatic logoff 0 The Web Connection can be used for this setting. 0 For the procedure to access the administrator mode, see page 2-2. 0 Do not leave the machine with the setting screen of administrator mode left shown on the display. If it is absolutely necessary to leave the machine, be sure first to log off from the administrator mode. 1 Call the administrator mode. 2 Click [Security] - [Auto Logout]. 3 Select [Admin. Automatic logoff setting function

Logging on to the administrator mode enables the machine to set the time of automatic logoff. With the au-

tomatic logoff function, you can automatically log off when the setting time elapses while

Web Connection

is being used.

The time to automatic logoff can be specified for the administrator mode and user mode respectively. If you

set the time to automatic logoff too long, there is a risk that an unauthorized access may occur during your

absence. Set the minimum period of time within five minutes. If the time longer than 5 minutes has been set,

please redo this setting.

Selectable time is 1 to 10 minutes, or 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 minutes for the time to log off from the administrator

mode and the user mode.

The

Web Connection

can be used for this setting.

For the procedure to access the administrator mode, see page 2-2.

Do not leave the machine with the setting screen of administrator mode left shown on the display. If it

is absolutely necessary to leave the machine, be sure first to log off from the administrator mode.

Call the administrator mode.

Click [Security] - [Auto Logout].

Select [Admin. Mode Logout Time] and [User Mode Logout Time] from the pull-down menu

Click [OK].
