Printing To load the 2000-sheet drawer: 1 Open the loading door. If the elevator tray is not already in the lowered position, push the elevator button to lower the tray. 2 Flex the sheets back and forth to loosen them, then fan them. Do not fold or crease the print media. Align the stack of print media to the back of the drawer. Note: For duplex printing, letterhead or other preprinted paper must be loaded differently. Carefully align each stack as you load it to ensure a smooth edge where the stacks meet. Do not load print media above the load line. Loading the 2000-sheet drawer

Printing
To load the 2000-sheet drawer:

Open the loading door. If the elevator tray is not already in the lowered position, push the elevator button to lower
the tray.

Flex the sheets back and forth to loosen them, then fan them. Do not fold or crease the print media. Straighten the
edges on a level surface.

Slightly bend the stack of print media as shown, and place it on the elevator tray with the preferred print side
facing down. Align the stack of print media to the back of the drawer.
Note:
For duplex printing, letterhead or other preprinted paper must be loaded differently.
Carefully align each stack as you load it to ensure a smooth edge where the stacks meet. Do not load print media
above the load line.
Note:
When loading more than one ream of paper, we recommend you remove the top and bottom sheet.

Close the loading door.
CAUTION:
Floor-mounted configurations require additional furniture for stability. You must use either
a printer stand or printer base if you are using a 2000-sheet drawer. Certain other configurations also
