Set up your phone ■ Make a call To make a call, at the start screen, enter the number you want to call and press the call key. Use the contacts list To begin entering names in your contacts list: 1. Enter the number with area code at the start screen. 2. Select Save to save the number to your contacts list. 3. Enter a contact name and select OK. To use the contacts list, from the start screen, select Names and scroll to the contact you want to use. Use the keypad 1. Enter the phone number (including the area code), and press the call key. To delete a character to the left of the cursor, select Clear. 2. Press the end key to end the call or select End call to cancel the call attempt. Use the last dialed number 1. At the start screen, press the call key to display the last 30 numbers dialed. 2. Select the number (or name) you wish to redial, and press the call key. Conference calling Conference calling is a network service that allows you to take part in a conference call with two other participants. 1. Make a call to the first participant. 2. With the first participant on the line, select Options > New call. 3. Enter the phone number of the second participant, or select Search to retrieve a number from the contacts list. 4. Select OK and the first participant is put on hold and a data query appears. 5. When the second participant picks up, press the call key to connect the calls. 6. To end the conference call, select Options > End all calls or press the end key. 18

Make a call
To make a call, at the start screen, enter the number you want to call and press
the call key.
Use the contacts list
To begin entering names in your contacts list:
1.
Enter the number with area code at the start screen.
2.
Select
Save
to save the number to your contacts list.
3.
Enter a contact name and select
OK
.
To use the contacts list, from the start screen, select
Names
and scroll to the
contact you want to use.
Use the keypad
1.
Enter the phone number (including the area code), and press the call key.
