Choose the menu Multicast Routing→PIM SM→BSR to load the following page. Figure 11-22 BSR The following entries are displayed on this screen: PIM SM Candidate BSR Config Configure the candidate BSR of current device. Interface: Hash Mask Length: Priority: Select the interface on this switch from which the BSR address is derived to make it a candidate. This interface must be enabled with PIM SM. specify the mask length that is to be ANDed with the group address before the hash function is called. All groups with the same seed hash correspond to the same RP The valid value range from 0 to 32 and the default value is 30. Specify the priority of the BSR. The BSR with the larger priority is preferred. If the priority values are the same, the device with the highest IP address is selected as the BSR. The valid value range from 0 to 255 and the default value is 64 PIM SM Elected BSR Information BSR Address: Priority: Hash Mask Length: Next BSR message time: Expire: Displays the elected BSR address. Displays the priority of the elected BSR. Displays the hash mask length of the elected BSR. Displays the time of next BSR message sending if this is the elected BSR. Displays the expiry time of the elected BSR. 256
