Customizing this unit (MANUAL SETUP) Subwoofer phase SUBWOOFER PHASE Use this feature to switch the phase of your subwoofer if bass sounds are lacking or unclear. A)SPEAKER SET SUBWOOFER PHASE >NORMAL REVERSE Choice NORMAL (normal) Functions Does not change the phase of your subwoofer. REVERSE (reverse) Sets the phase of your subwoofer to reverse. Presence/surround back channel priority PRIORITY Use this feature to prioritize either the presence or the surround back speakers when playing back 2-channel audio sources using the sound field programs. A)SPEAKER SET PRIORITY PRNS >SUR.B Choice Functions PRNS Uses the presence speakers. Use this feature to switch the phase of your subwoofer if
bass sounds are lacking or unclear.
Presence/surround back channel priority
PRIORITY
Use this feature to prioritize either the presence or the
surround back speakers when playing back 2-channel
audio sources using the sound field programs.

B)SPEAKER LEVEL
Use this feature to manually balance the speaker levels
between the front left or surround left speakers and each
speaker selected in “SPEAKER SET” (see page 80).
