Chapter 5 WAN Setup Table 27 WAN Backup Advanced Setup LABEL DESCRIPTION Budget The configuration in the Budget fields has priority over your Connection settings. Allocated Budget Type the amount of time (in minutes) that the dial backup connection can be used during the time configured in the Period field. Set an amount that is less than the time period configured in the Period field. If you set the Allocated Budget to 0, you will not be able to use the dial backup connection. Period Type the time period (in hours) for how often the budget should be reset. For example, to allow calls to this remote node for a maximum of 10 minutes every hour, set the Allocated Budget to 10 (minutes) and the Period to 1 (hour). If you set the Period to 0, there is no budget control and the ZyXEL Device uses the Connection settings. Back Click Back to return to the previous screen. Apply Click Apply to save the changes. Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh. 5.10 Dial Backup Modem Setup Use this screen to configure the advanced modem settings.
