Select Universal Repeater Mode if you want to have wireless clients associate with the WAP3205 and also want to connect the WAP3205 to an existing access point. • In addition to wireless LAN settings between the WAP3205 and wireless clients, you also need to configure security and wireless settings between the WAP3205 and another access point. • WDS is not available when the WAP3205 is in universal repeater mode. • The IP address of the device on the local network is the same as the IP address given to the WAP3205 while in access point mode (default is 192.168.1.2).
